DUCK HUNT/SWAN HUNT


Jennette's Guide Service wants to provide you with the best possible waterfowl hunt. To help you get your license and permits we have links at the bottom of the page. Also a list of items that you will need to bring.
 
Our waterfowl season runs from November 22 through January 28. The season for swan run through January 31st.
 
Our daily rates for sea duck and swan hunts are:

Duck Hunting Rates


 Rate #1 Hunt only
Group Size:
Min: 1-3 hunters per day $640.00 for entire group
For groups 4-5  per day $1,280 for entire group
Deposit to hold hunts $180.00 for each day.

NO HUNTING ON SUNDAYS
 
A $180.00 non refundable deposit for each day of the hunt is required. the dates you choose will be held for seven days. After this time, if the deposit has not been received, dates will be marked as open.
 
Deposits may be made by personal checks. Balance is due when you arrive by cash ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We recommend that you book your waterfowl hunt as early as possible so we can accommodate your hunting dates. Booking your hunt by phone (1-252-542-0921) this will allow you to find out if your dates are available.
 
Checks may be used to pay 30 days prior to your arrival ONLY. Please make sure everyone in your party knows this.

North Carolina Swan Permits
 
Swans can be taken by permit ONLY: 1 per person, per year. Permits are $10.00. For more information call the phone number below. (ask for group number)
 
Permits can be obtained but must be applied for by October 1 and may be applied for as early as July 1.  Apply early or you may not get one.

Recommended Gear for your North Carolina Waterfowl Hunt:

Camouflage clothes and gloves
Rain gear
Regular boots, waders or hip boots
12 gauge or larger shotgun
3" BB Steel shot shells for swan
3" #2 Steel shot shells for sea ducks
And of course your camera
